    GF101 single phase voltage & current source is suitable for power department, measuring department, quality control department, research units, institution of higher learning, electric energy meter, power distribution terminals, power supply management, load control, power quality, reactive power compensation device and production of the enterprise and so on. It can be as single phase voltage source, current source and phantom load.

    The GF101 AC Power Calibrator is equipped with RS232 PORT as standard communication interface to control external devices remotely. Power Factor Validation Power factor is an important element when users judge the efficiency of a device.


    In the Power Calibration mode, the GF101 can be used as a source to calibrate DC and single-phase AC watt meters, power analyzers, and energy meters. In this mode, the output voltage can be set up to 500V, the output current up to 120A, and the power factor from -1.0 to +1.0 lead/lag in the frequency band from 40Hz to 70Hz.


    Voltage Source: A device which can produce a continuous force to move the electrons (or, continuous voltage) through the wire connected into the two terminals of the device is called a Voltage Source. There are two types of the Voltage Source which are:

    Direct Voltage Source:

    A device which produces a continuous direct voltage output is called a Direct Voltage Source. For example: Cells , Battery , DC Generator.

    A direct voltage is the kind of voltage whose polarity remains the same. Direct Voltage causes the current to move only in one direction continuously.

    Alternating Voltage Source:

    A device which produces a alternating direct voltage output is called a Alternating Voltage Source. For example: AC Generator , DC to AC converter etc.

    A alternating voltage is the kind of voltage whose polarity is reversed periodically. Alternating Voltage causes the current to move in one direction for a period and then in another direction for another period.


    Current Source:

    A current source is a device which provides the regular flow or electrons or current on a circuit.
